We've been having lots of fun. Rusty is 8 months old now and Broden is 22 months old. They are starting to play together and it's sweet to watch. Time seems to be flying bye!

Well it's been a while. These pictures are totally out of order but I don't have time to fix it all. So to recap we have been camping twice, road trip to Vancouver to visit Pops, trip to the fair and once to the zoo. Fun times. Rusty is 5 months old now and Broden is 19 months old. They are so fun!

Baby Ruston is born!

Well baby Ruston is finally here. We went in on Friday @ 2:00 and he was born at 10:05 Not wanting to miss a thing he decided to come into this world face up. Which caused a bit of trouble for his mama, but I was finally able to get him out!!! He is a wonderful baby and we are having fun getting to know him. Brody loves him and is adjusting well to the new "sounds" a baby makes. He weighed 8.10 and was 21 inches long. Pretty big boy just like his brother.

Happy Birthday to me! I am sure that I will regret letting Mom pick out my birthday hat!!! Where exactly was Dad in all this?!?

Come to think of it, I don't think they actually let me see it first. They just quickly placed it on my head. This is the first time I am seeing that big candle sticking out of the top of my head. How ridiculous!My first taste of cake. DIVINE!!!!

OK Starting to feel the effects of sugar! What did they put in this frosting?

Must......Have.......Water........ and maybe a Tums while your at it.

Here is Mommy and Great Grammie playing the Wii. Did somebody forget to tell them that Mommy is 8 months pregnant and Grammie has had several surgeries on her back?!?!

It didn't last to long. After a game of Fishing, Baseball, Bowling and a few other I heard them both say something about their sciatica's acting up and that was the end of that!

My first piano from Daddy and Mommy. Daddy has started to call me Elton for some reason and Mommy is quick to say, "he IS NOT like Elton John" Daddy just laughs and says "I mean his piano skills are like Elton!"

First thing I did on my birthday was go wake up Daddy. Mommy then blinded us with the flash. I couldn't see for about a 1/2 hour!

All in all it was a great birthday. Lots of family and friends to celebrate with. Can't wait for next year!

OK so this was the morning I lost my beloved binkies FOREVER! Now when I say lost I mean Mommy and Daddy threw them away forever! Ya, perfectly good binks thrown out with the REAL trash, like dirty diapers and left over brocolli from the night before. REAL trash! How was I supposed to know that they would freak out if I showed them my stash of binks. One for my mouth and one for each hand. What's so wrong with that?!? Just trying to be prepared. You never know which end of the crib I might flop to in the middle of the night. Those binks come in handy. Oh well, I have adjusted I suppose but I do miss them from time to time. Here's me with my chip off the ol' block shirt on. I've never heard Mommy call Daddy a Block before but whatever!

Well Brody started walking last month. He is 11 months old now. I can't believe how fast he is growing up! He is a really good walker. He has 6 teeth so far. And as far as I can tell his favorite food are blueberries. Although I am sure if he tasted ice cream that would by far be his favorite! He are a few recent picutes of him.

Here's Mommy pregnant with my baby brother Anderson. She is 26 weeks along here. She doesn't really like this picture of herself but it's really the only one they have taken so far. Sheesh, I think there are hundreds of me in Mommy's belly. Poor Anderson:(

Daddy made a room in the garage for me to play in while Mommy jogs on the treadmill. It's really a present for Mommy so she doesn't have to miss her workouts if I don't take good naps during the day.

Daddy decorated our house with beautiful lights. Right now he is outside making the biggest snowman I've ever seen. I'll have Mommy post pictures as soon as he's done. I've noticed that my Dad doesn't do ANYTHING half way! What a great Dad.

Tow trucks working, people honking their horns, one guy was even playing the song "Lovely Day" real loud. Lots of entertainment. But again I got sleepy and fell asleep before we got home.

Yep these cheeks are ALL mine. I'm not ever stashing little bits of paper or food in them!

Hope you all have a Merry Christmas. I think this is going to be my most favorite time of year. I'll let you know for sure once I've lived through a whole year! But so far Christmas time is really fun.

Yep its true! My Mom is pregnant again. She is about 8 weeks along and feeling kind of queezy. I know because she has to eat a piece of toast before she can even make my breakfast in the morning! After that she's good to go. So I guess I'll be meeting my new brother or sister in the middle of May sometime. Whatever May is?? Fun huh?!?!?

I started sitting up this week! Good thing too cause Mom doesn't carry me around all day anymore, so I had to figure out how to entertain myself! I guess I am just to heavy she says.

I love reading to Daddy in bed. That way I get to stay up a little bit later each night. Tricky huh?

Cousin Ella loves to play with me. I am lucky to have such a great cousin. I noticed she started calling me Babe. Usually with a NO in front of it! I wonder what that means:)

I hadn't heard that Pink in the new Black for the season. Good thing Auntie and Uncle are like McGivor and have all kind of hidden supplies in their car.

Is this thing sturdy enough to hold me? It seems to be squeeking an aweful lot. I see Daddy inspecting things all the time. These are the things I worry about.
Again, I find myself not on solid ground but suspended in the air by strings!I love my dog Duke. No matter how bad he smells at times. He does fun tricks for me and makes me laugh.

Where is the nearest longshoreman's office. I'd like to apply. Daddy keeps tellling me to get a job. Apparently I eat a fair amount of formula a day and Mommy has figured out that it costs about 90 cents a bottle. Still cheaper than that liquid gold I see her buying all the time. I think they call it "help me I can't function without a cup of coffee." Or maybe it's just coffee for short.

Mom that seems like a bit overkill for my first feeding of rice cereal.

Daddy's friend bought me this Harley outfit and was supposed to come over so that I could get my picture taken on his bike, but I got too sleepy waiting for him so Mom put me on Papa's hog. I think it goes like 20 mph. And then off to bed for a nap. Apparently I get a little grumpy when I get tired so Mom puts me straight away in my crib!

Road Trip to California

We took a road trip to California to visit Bryan's family.

So Brody is three months old already! Time is flying. He is getting really fun. He rolled over 2 times the other day, but apparently it wore him out because he refuses to try it again. He's probably just trying to pace himself.

Mom and Dad just realized that I love to swing! What took them so long? Did they think my little neck couldn't handle it or what?
Mom it's really embarrassing when you kiss my face like that and make my cheeks get all squished together. Please be mindful of that from now on.

This blog thing is crazy! Some days I can get in, some days it kicks me out! Some days it has no idea who I am? I don't think it's just me because I function just fine on the computer at work and am quite capable of figuring out simple programs (such as the blogging deal) Whatever, maybe it's my pregnancy brain. Anyways I better post some pics before I accidentaly get kicked out again.

I only have two more weeks to go til we get to meet our little babe. Last week I was dilated to almost 3 and the head was at -2. I am anxious to see if there has been any further developments. We have an appointment tomorrow. I'll try to post the results, but no promises:)

These pictures are from a weekend trip that all the girls in the family took for Jen's birthday. We rented a cabin on Lake Kachees. It was so fun. Tons of snow! We went for a walk, went sleding, played cards & watched the Seahawks get worked by the Green Bay Packers. It was soooo fun. I have the best family! All together it was Aunt Judi, Mom, Jen, Staci, Amy, Sarah, Mackenzie and myself.

Here is a snap of Brody's room. It's really cheerful. I love it. I hope he does too.

My Little Bump

This is me at 22 and 1/2 weeks. Currently I am 26 weeks along but we don't have any pictures downloaded yet. So far I think I have had a really easy pregnancy. A tiny bit of feeling yucky early on but so far so good. He is moving a ton these past few weeks. It's really fun to feel. Sometimes I just sit and watch my belly for movements.

I think his favorite place to lay down is on my bladder, I have had to recreate my walking route around the construction zones in our neighborhood because I know they are are good for an outhouse or two:) You should see the looks I get. One time I asked one of the workers if he would mind if I used their bathroom and he said "No, go ahead but it's kind of messy in there, It's usually a men's bathroom." I just smiled and said thanks. Desperate times call for desperate measures. I am pretty amazing at being able not to touch a single thing in there with my hands. The hard part is making my dog Duke wait for me outside:)

My friend Vikki works for Highline Medical Center and was able to scan me a few weeks ago and see that indeed we are having a little boy. Bryan and I are VERY excited. Of course we didn't care either way but now that we know we are so happy. I think it will be a lot of fun! My mom is already worried that we are going to teach him to ride motorcycles and such. Which we probably will, but that's what prayer is for right? Good thing I have a mom and aunt who faithfully pray for us kids. I am going to have to put our baby on the list:)

I am at 17 and 1/2 weeks now and am not showing that much. Just enough of a pouch to make me look nice and plump and feel gross but not enough to be cute yet! I can still wear my regular clothes but I look like I need to be on "what not to wear" because although my clothes are still somewhat stylish they don't fit me anymore the way they are meant to. Tim Gunn would have a field day with me:)

The other day we were going to run some errands and Bryan yelled from down the hall, "are you ready yet?" I came out dressed in a pair of my dad's old sweats and a t-shirt. Bryan wasn't sure what to think but he said, "you do know we are leaving the house right?" I went back in the bedroom and squeezed back into my jeans. Oh, well such is life:)

For our 1 year anniversary we decided to go to Mexico. Bryan's friend from work let us use their condo about a 1/2 hour from Mazatlan. It was great! My Mom, Dad, Sarah, Chris and Ella came too. We had a great time. Here are a few pictures.

Isn't she adorable?? When I am in the midst of a major road rage moment, I try to think of my niece and how she might react to her Auntie's tone or gesture. It usually does the trick.

Tom, Lis and Berkeley. Aren't they sweet? Berkeley had on the cutest tights. They were just like the ones Big Bird wears. Only little:)

SNOW DAY!!!! We got to stay home because of the big snow fall. Of course we had to take the truck out and see if we could control the beast. I wondered why we were sliding so much since we have a four wheel drive truck. Then I realized we weren't actually using that function. Bryan said it was more fun to just use the 2 wheels, that way he could practice his "get out of a slide maneuver."

Duke LOVES to try to catch snow balls in the air. Not the brightest pup out there, but we love his tenacity.

OK Lis, Here You Go!

Lis asked me to start up a blog, so here I am. Now just a forewarning there many be huge chunks of time that you don't get an update from me, but hey at least I made it to the list:)

This is Bryan & I at our reception in May. We were married March 11th in Kauai Hawaii. My Uncle Paul married us. We had absolutely no details ready other than the rings, vows, license and pastor when we arrived. It was PERFECT! We drove around the island Friday the 10th searching for a beach to get married on. We found a beautiful beach and decided on a time. We had about 30 guests. The morning of the big day we thought it would be fun to drive out and watch the sun rise on our beach. Well, it was raining so hard that we weren't able to even get to the beach let alone watch the sun rise. We had a bit of a panic attack. I know you are all thinking that Kauai is known for its rain bursts. This is different folks. These are record breaking rain falls. We drove back to my Mom's condo where I proceeded to wake her from a perfectly peaceful sleep with my "Mom! What are we going to do??? I mean the condo is nice and all but why fly all the way to Hawaii just to get married indoors? Of course she was calm and as always super optomistic. "Just wait hon, there are still about 5 hours until the scheduled time and we can always postpone the time." Well sure enough the rain stopped and the sun came out for about 4 hours and we were able to have our wedding on the beach we chose. We were bare foot, I wore a simple white dress and he wore shorts and a white shirt. Some day I'll figure out how to get them to my blog to show you a bit. After the wedding it started to rain again and didn't let up the whole trip. I'm talking people's houses were being washed out to sea. Some folks even lost their lives. It was crazy!! But what an adventure! Plus I feel like God performed a miracle for our wedding day by letting the sun shine. We were able to get married, take pictures and have snacks on the beach before it started to rain again. THANK YOU JESUS! I mean I'm about as mellow as they come and I have to admit I was a touch nervous.

We were going to stay another week on the North Shore of the island but on our way to our hotel the main highway washed out and we weren't able to get there. We flew out to Oahu that day and stayed a couple of days there instead. We ran into Chris and Sarah over there at Diamond Head and were able to hang out with them and do some snorkling. I look back on the wedding and honeymoon and couldn't be happier with how things turned out. We had such an adventure over there that you just couldn't make this stuff up. We laugh about it a lot and made the best out of a very wet honeymoon. At least we are used to being wet, being from Washington and all:) Well, that's quite enough from me for now.

P.S. This is our dog Duke. He is awesome! He just learned how to chill. Yep, I say Duke chill and he lays down on his side.
